Wednesday 12th April - walk *** Sunrise Felixstowe prom - sunny start then
squally showers with strong winds.!
After a full on 3 hour plus windsurf yesterday on the River Orwell at
Levington yesterday I woke with a cold today, Mag was also not feeling
great but that did not stop us from heading down to Felixstowe prom at 5.30
to catch the sunrise before the bad weather arrives! We walked to Jacobs
Ladder with the sun clearing a bank of cloud out to sea at 6.20, it was a
tad on the chilly side but then I only had my shorts on. It certainly is
the best time of the day, lovely and quiet as we ambled back home to sort
my pics out, was lucky enough to get one on BBC Look East lunchtime weather
forecast and aloes another in the local paper, the EADT, its nice they are
printing a few again after quiet spell! I felt well enough to do my
exercises watching the first of the heavy squalls arrive, it didn?t stop
our cats from sitting in the back garden watching the heavy rain. Then this
afternoons excitement was a trip to Lidl but not before a ride to the Cliff
top carpark via the Fludgers to check out the rough sea and was out as the
skies darkened and another squall arrived:)
